Job summary

Nuffield Health in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Duty Manager for our gym on an ad hoc bank basis. You’ll manage the club during shifts, handle opening and closing, and drive member satisfaction with a friendly, service‑led approach.

The role requires demonstrable sales experience and excellent communication, with a collaborative attitude. You may be asked to cover Lifeguard breaks and support the team in maintaining safety, high standards, and targets.

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift.

• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Help achieve sales targets; may cover Lifeguard breaks and be able to swim to a high standard.

Duty Manager Milton Keynes FWC | Bank | Ad Hoc Up to £13.21 per hour depending on skills and experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
