Job summary

Churchill Group’s Transport Division in Grove Park, London is seeking a Night Shift Cleaning Duty Manager to lead a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives across 2 rail sites, ensuring high cleaning standards and smooth operations.

You will manage training, safety records, and quality audits, while supporting recruitment and conducting regular staff briefings. The role offers £33,000–£35,000 per year plus a company van, fuel card and railcard, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or team leadership role in cleaning/FM or similar operations.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
• IOSH certificate preferred or relevant safety training.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide Supervisors and cleaning teams to meet high-quality service and safety standards.
• Ensure team members are trained in health and safety and maintain training records.

Night shift overseeing 2 locations around Grove Park, London

£33,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience + company van + fuel card + rail card

Are you a confident and supportive leader with a passion for high standards and team development? We’re looking for a Night Shift Cleaning Duty Manager to join our Transport Division in Grove Park, London. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives helping maintain high cleaning standards across 2 rail sites and ensuring operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide Supervisors and cleaning teams to meet high-quality service and safety standards.
• Ensure team members are trained in health and safety (including HSEQ and machinery use), and that training records are up to date.
• Carry out daily quality audits and report findings to the Account Manager.
• Help to recruit and onboard new team members when vacancies arise.
• Lead regular staff briefings and monthly safety discussions (toolbox talks).

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, ideally in cleaning, FM, or a similar operational setting.
• Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, and (ideally) an IOSH certificate.
• A calm, organised approach with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Ability to meet vetting requirements, including a 5-year work history check.
