Qualifications

• Proven experience in plant engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Electrical fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment, VSDs and conveyors.
• Strong grounding in plant preventative maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site's engineering and maintenance function.
• Coach and develop three direct reports.
• Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Promote safety culture across all maintenance activities.
• Lead safety audits, investigations and near-miss reporting.
• Implement and improve the site's PPM programme.
• Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 13485 and 14001 standards.
• Manage site CMMS to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Drive improvements in plant reliability and OEE.
• Review RAMS and issue permits to work for external contractors.
• Support capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.
• Identify new technologies and engineering solutions.
