Job summary

Lucion is seeking a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join the Hazardous Materials team, covering the Stoke on Trent area on a field basis. You’ll be on site with clients, contractors and colleagues to identify, manage and control asbestos risks.

You’ll perform surveys, air monitoring, 4-stage clearances and reporting, while ensuring compliance with HSG248 and HSG264. DBS check will be completed as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have P402, P403 and/or P404, RSPH equivalent, or a relevant Certificate of Competence.
• Comfortable working to HSG248 and HSG264.
• Experienced asbestos professional with sound technical judgement.
• Able to work independently while being part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
• Perform air monitoring and fibre counting.
• Carry out 4-stage clearance and re-occupation testing.
• Inspect remediation works and verify contractor performance.
• Record site information using phablet and NexGen reporting system.
• Produce accurate, defensible reports and provide asbestos advice to clients.
