Job summary

Impact Services seeks a Dual Role Security & Cleaning Supervisor to support security and cleaning contracts. The role blends supervisory visits with hands-on coverage across multiple sites, ensuring compliance and high service standards.

You will coach operatives, complete reports and assist with inductions, while maintaining professional conduct with customers. Flexibility is required to cover security, cleaning and supervisory duties as needs arise.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence for the security duties undertaken.
• Experience in security and/or commercial cleaning is required or desirable.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Good organisational and reporting skills are important.
• Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular supervisory visits across security and cleaning contracts.
• Complete site audits, quality inspections and compliance checks.
• Monitor operative performance, attendance and presentation.
• Liaise with customers and address operational concerns.
• Provide on-site guidance, coaching and refresher training.
• Support new starter inductions and site familiarisation.
• Provide security cover across customer sites when required.
• Undertake cleaning duties when allocated to a cleaning shift.
• Conduct site inspections, supporting operatives and monitoring service standards.
• Maintain accurate records of supervisory visits and completed duties.
• Represent Impact Services professionally at all times.

Job Purpose

To support the effective delivery of Impact Services' security and cleaning contracts through a combination of operational shift cover and supervisory site visits.

The role requires flexibility to undertake both security and cleaning shifts when required, alongside carrying out supervisory duties to ensure service standards, compliance and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Supervisory Duties

• Conduct regular supervisory visits across security and cleaning contracts.
• Complete site audits, quality inspections and compliance checks.
• Monitor operative performance, attendance and presentation.
• Ensure site Assignment Instructions and cleaning specifications are followed.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site guidance, coaching and refresher training.
• Liaise with customers and address operational concerns.
• Complete supervisory visit reports and elevate issues to the Operations Manager.
• Support new starter inductions and site familiarisation.

Security Shift Cover

• Provide security cover across customer sites when required.
• Conduct patrols, access control and CCTV monitoring where authorised.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Complete Daily Occurrence Reports and incident records.
• Follow site-specific Assignment Instructions and security procedures.
• Maintain a professional security presence.

Cleaning Shift Cover

• Provide cleaning cover across customer sites when required.
• Undertake general cleaning duties in accordance with site specifications.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow COSHH and health and safety procedures.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used correctly.
• Report defects, hazards and operational concerns.

General Responsibilities

• Work flexibly across security, cleaning and supervisory assignments.
• Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day service delivery.
• Assist with short-notice shift cover and operational requirements.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and customer standards are maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of supervisory visits and completed duties.
• Represent Impact Services professionally at all times.

Skills & Requirements

• Valid SIA licence appropriate to the security duties undertaken.
• Previous experience within security and/or commercial cleaning.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Good organisational and reporting skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
• Willingness to undertake additional training.

Performance Expectations

• Completion of allocated supervisory visits and site inspections.

Role Requirements

The position combines three distinct responsibilities:

1. Security Shift Cover – Providing security services when allocated to a security shift.
2. Cleaning Shift Cover – Undertaking cleaning duties when allocated to a cleaning shift.
3. Supervisory Visits – Conducting site inspections, supporting operatives and monitoring service standards across both divisions.

The successful candidate must be prepared to undertake all three responsibilities based on business requirements.
