Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead and support our security team across assigned sites. You will ensure duties are carried out efficiently, maintain a visible presence, and act as the first point of escalation for incidents.

The role requires an SIA Licence, supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The 4 on 4 off days pattern applies, with day shifts 07:00–19:00 and nights as required.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in security.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and decide quickly.
• Excellent report writing and IT literacy.

About The Role:

SHIFT PATTERN - 4 on 4 off Days 07:00 - 19:00

Security Supervisor to lead and support our security team. In this role, you will ensure that all security duties are carried out efficiently, maintain a visible security presence, and act as the first point of escalation for incidents across assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security officers, ensuring duties are executed effectively.
• Conduct site patrols, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Maintain a visible security presence and respond promptly to security-related incidents.
• Liaise with clients and management to ensure service excellence.
• Train, mentor, and develop security staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage shift scheduling, reporting, and key control procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Proven experience in security with a supervisory or leadership background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
• Excellent report writing skills and computer literacy.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Additional Requirements

All successful applicants will be required to undergo screening and vetting in line with BS7858 standards.
