AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to oversee two specialist children’s residential services in Hertfordshire. The role includes managing a 4-bed EBD home in Hoddesdon and a 1-bed solo placement in Broxbourne, ensuring compliance and high-quality, individualised care.

The candidate will lead staff across both sites, drive safeguarding, develop care plans, and prepare for Ofsted inspections.

Competenze

• Experience as Ofsted Registered Manager in children’s residential care.
• Knowledge of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
• Experience with children and young people with EBD, complex needs or challenging behaviours.
• Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.

• Act as Ofsted Registered Manager with day-to-day management responsibility.
• Maintain registration across both children's residential provisions.
• Lead and manage staff teams to provide safe, effective and child-centred care.
• Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
• Maintain safeguarding practices and ensure welfare and safety of children.
• Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies.
• Monitor children’s progress, outcomes and placement plans; personalise care.
• Lead recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and development of staff.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas and resources across both services.
• Work with Responsible Individual and leadership to maintain governance and QA.
• Prepare services for Ofsted inspections and respond to recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive culture.
