Job summary

Agincare in Salisbury invites applications for a Dual Registered Manager within our Children’s Services residential homes. You will lead a team of support workers, act as corporate parent, and establish a compliant, high-quality service for young people with LD and complex needs.

The role demands a Level 5 Diploma, 3+ years in children's residential care and strong safeguarding, Ofsted, and care-planning expertise. A driving licence and vehicle access are preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in children's residential care, incl. 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and Ofsted regulation awareness
• Experience planning and implementing care plans and related documentation to the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Experience with LD disabilities and complex behaviours
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections
• Experience in opening new services is advantageous
• Driving licence and own vehicle preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support a team of support workers and senior staff
• Act as corporate parent and ensure children's daily wellbeing
• Set up and develop a new residential service in Salisbury
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
