Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider to appoint an Ofsted Registered Manager overseeing two specialist services in Hertfordshire (4-bed EBD home in Hoddesdon and 1-bed placement in Broxbourne).

The role requires strong governance, compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and safeguarding leadership to deliver high-quality, personalised care and maintain Ofsted readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within children's residential care.
• Proven experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home.
• Strong knowledge of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
• Experience working with children and young people with EBD, complex needs or challenging behaviours.
• Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
• Experience managing inspections, compliance and quality assurance.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification is highly desirable.

• Work with Responsible Individual and senior leadership to maintain governance and quality assurance.
• Prepare services for Ofsted inspections and respond to recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive culture.

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to oversee two specialist children's residential services in Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for a 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Hoddesdon and a 1-bed solo placement service in Broxbourne. The services are being developed to provide high-quality, individualised care and support for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager who is looking to take on a dual-registered position and play a key role in developing and maintaining high standards across two specialist services.

Key Responsibilities
