Job summary

TalentCloud Group, in partnership with a leading international law firm, is seeking a dual-qualified UK & European Patent Attorney to join our London patent practice. You will work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with colleagues across international markets.

You'll draft patent applications, prosecute before UKIPO/EPO/WIPO, advise on portfolio development, and support due diligence for financings, mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Dual-qualified UK and European Patent Attorney.
• 1-3 years PQE.
• Proven drafting and prosecution experience before EPO/UKIPO.
• Experience across software, AI, electronics, or engineering.
• Strong communication and commercial thinking.

Responsibilities

• Draft high-quality patent applications across diverse technologies.
• Manage prosecution before UKIPO, EPO and WIPO.
• Advise clients on patent portfolios and IP strategy.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate and patentability assessments.
• Support due diligence for financings, M&A, and transactions.
• Assist with oppositions and appeals.
• Collaborate with international colleagues on cross-border matters.
