Qualifications

• Dual CPA/EPA qualification required.
• Proven experience drafting and prosecuting software and AI-related patent applications.
• Strong academic background in computer science, software engineering, AI, mathematics, physics or related field.
• Sound understanding of EPO practice relating to computer-implemented inventions.
• Commercial awareness and ability to build client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Drafting and prosecuting UK, European and international patent applications involving AI, software and computer-implemented inventions.
• Advise innovative technology businesses on protecting commercially valuable inventions.
• Develop patent strategies for emerging AI technologies and complex software innovations.
• Work directly with clients to understand technology and commercial objectives.
• Manage sophisticated international patent portfolios and EPO proceedings.
• Collaborate with leading patent attorneys and IP litigators on technically challenging matters.
• Contribute to growth of the firm's AI and software patent capabilities.
