Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers for permanent roles across the UK. You will replace gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes, demonstrate usage, and provide post-install maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

This role offers banding with salaries around £39,923–£41,571 per year, with an OTE potential for the DF engineer (£48–£53k uncapped) and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, leave, and employee support services.

Qualifications

• MET1
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous

Responsibilities

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.
