Job summary
Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes, primarily in the Lancaster area, on a permanent basis. You will provide a first-class after-care service including a thorough demonstration of the new meter and carry out repair and maintenance after the initial install to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.
Salary banding ranges from £39,923 to £41,571 per annum, with uncapped OTE for DF engineers
Qualifications
- MET1 certification required.
- CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 certifications required.
- Single phase electric experience.
- MOCOPA (1a and 1c) certification.
- REGT1 and polyphase electric experience (desirable).
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
- 3 phase or single-off multi-meter experience advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
- Provide full in-home demonstration to customers on using their new meter.
- Repair and maintain meters after initial install.
