Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is seeking an experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to install and service domestic smart meters across nationwide contracts. This role offers a clear career path with competitive pay packages and practical benefits.

Options include a salary of £45,000 per annum with 33 days holiday, plus a company van, fuel card, tools and uniform. An umbrella PAYE day-rate option is also available at £200 or £275 per day, with respective van and tool provisions.

Qualifications

• Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma.
• CMA1 and CCN1/MET1 certifications.
• MOCOPA certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Clean DBS check within recent 3 months preferred.
• EUSR card advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service.
• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards.
• Represent Orion as part of a nationwide engineering team.

Education

Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma

CMA1

CCN1 & MET1

MOCOPA certification

Full UK driving licence

Clean DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred)
