Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is hiring a Dual Fuel Engineer to install meters in domestic properties across the UK. This full-time role offers a stable salary, bonuses, and a nationwide engineering team.

You will install, test, and commission smart meters safely, deliver professional customer service on every visit, and ensure compliance with industry standards. A van and tools are provided; driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or qualification in Smart Meter Engineering.
• MOCOPA certification (completed on induction if not already held).
• CMA1 certificate or CCN1 & MET1.
• Valid driving licence.
• Clean DBS check (recent certificate within 3 months preferred).
• EUSR card (advantageous but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service on every visit.
• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards.
• Represent Orion proudly as part of a nationwide engineering team.
