We at Orion Gas are proud to work alongside some of the biggest Gas and Energy Providers in the industry. As we enter a period of growth and expansion across the UK, we are looking for a dynamic and passionate Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to kickstart their career with Orion.

Role Overview

We are seeking Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to install smart meters within domestic premises and provide a first-class service.

Package Options

1. Salary Option: £45,000 per annum, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, van, fuel card, tools, and uniform provided.
2. Guaranteed Day Rate Option 1: £200 per day, van, fuel card, tools, and uniform provided.
3. Guaranteed Day Rate Option 2: £250 per day, engineer supplies own van and receives a £10 per day fuel allowance, tools, and uniform.
4. Guaranteed Day Rate Option 3: £275 per day, engineer supplies own van and pays for fuel; tools and uniform provided.

Additionally, a new CIS option is available.

Bonuses

• £150 monthly attendance bonus.
• £150 monthly for achieving 75% completion rate on jobs.
• Alternatively, £50 per point after hitting 6 points in a day.

Call Out – Optional

• One week in four (potentially more).
• Working hours: 5pm-8pm Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm Sat, 8am-4pm Sun.
• Standby payment and price per job on call.

Saturday work is also available.

The Engineer

• Minimum of 24 months' experience in dual fuel metering.
• Manage own stock levels.
• Work closely with management to meet KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills to provide top-tier customer service.
• Ability to plan and organize workload to meet deadlines.
• IT literacy required.

Payment is weekly, two weeks in arrears, with bonuses paid one month in arrears. Day Rate options are paid via PAYE through an Umbrella Company from our PSL.
