Job Description:

We at Orion Gas are proud to work alongside some of the biggest Gas and Energy Providers in the industry. As we enter a period of growth and expansion across the UK, we are looking for a dynamic and passionate Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to join Orion.

The role involves providing smart meter installations within domestic premises and delivering first-class service.

Options to choose from our 4 Packages:

• Salary Option: £45,000 per annum. Includes 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), van, fuel card, tools, and uniform.
• Guaranteed Day Rate Option 1: £200 per day. Includes van, fuel card, tools, and uniform.
• Guaranteed Day Rate Option 2: £250 per day. Engineer supplies own van and receives a £10 daily fuel allowance, tools, and uniform.
• Guaranteed Day Rate Option 3: £275 per day. Engineer supplies own van, pays for fuel, with tools and uniform provided.

Bonuses for all packages:

• £150 per month attendance bonus.
• £150 per month for achieving 75% completion rate on jobs.

Alternatively, a point-based bonus system:

• £50 per point after reaching 6 points in a day.

Call Out – Optional:

• One week in four (potentially more).
• Working hours: 5pm-8pm Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm Sat, 8am-4pm Sun.
• Standby payment applicable.
• Price per job on call.

Saturday work is also available.

The Engineer:

• Minimum of 24 months' experience in Dual Fuel Metering.
• Manage own stock levels.
• Work closely with management to meet KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills to provide top-tier customer service and support.
• Ability to plan, organise, and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• IT literacy.

Payment is weekly, two weeks in arrears, with bonuses paid one month in arrears.

With the Day Rate Option, payment is via PAYE through an Umbrella Company (from our PSL).
