Where will you be working?

Within our Metering team, we are the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, delivering efficient gas, electricity, and water metering solutions. Our meter readers install, maintain, and manage meters to ensure accurate billing and energy monitoring.

What will you be doing?
  • Responding to emergency and scheduled maintenance appointments for EON, ensuring smart meters are functioning correctly.
  • Providing excellent customer service by explaining the benefits and safe usage of smart meters.
  • Installing and removing SMETS2 smart meters in customers' homes, typically completing around 5 jobs per day.
  • Traveling within your area, using your tablet to manage your schedule, which is available up to 2 weeks in advance.
  • Receiving ongoing training to develop your skills and knowledge.
What will you need?
  • A valid UK driving license held for at least 1 year with less than 6 points.
  • Qualifications such as CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
  • Experience installing gas and electric smart meters and MOCOPA experience at a multi-rate level.
