Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is hiring a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to replace and install gas and electricity meters in customers' homes from our Lancaster base. You will demonstrate operation of the new meter and ensure a high standard of after-care service.

Ideal candidates have MET1 and CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications, a UK driving licence, and at least 6 months of dual fuel meter installation experience. A permanent role with benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Familiar with dual fuel smart meters and in-home installations.
• Compliance with gas/electricity smart meter installation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to operate safely and maintain meters after installation.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first-class after-care service with a full customer demonstration.
• Repair and maintain meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role

To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes. Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter. Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding and Salary

• Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum
• Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum
• OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K - uncapped
• Performance bonus
• Weekly meter fit bonus scheme £60 per month
• Lunch expenses

Qualifications and Key Skills Required

• MET1
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous
