Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters in Carlisle is hiring a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to replace gas and electricity meters in customer homes and deliver after-care demonstrations on new meters. You will also maintain and repair meters post-install, ensuring high-quality service across our UK contracts.

The role requires MET1, CCN1/CMA1/CMA3, and driving license, with 6 months’ experience in dual fuel smart meters. Competitive salary and benefits apply in a full-time, on-site position.

• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service including a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K - uncapped

Performance bonus
