Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to install and exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes in Taunton and surrounding areas. The role includes after-care demonstrations and meter maintenance after initial installation.

The position offers on-site work with a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits, including pension, life assurance, and generous annual leave. Prior dual fuel meter experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MET1 qualification required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 competencies expected.
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c) knowledge encouraged.
• Full UK Driving licence is required.
• Minimum 6 months fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• 3 phase or single-off multi experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service and full demonstration to customers.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K - uncapped

Performance bonus

Weekly meter fit bonus scheme

£60 per month lunch expenses
