Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters, part of Sureserve Group, is hiring a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer for in-home installations in York. You will replace meters, demonstrate usage, and provide after-care support to customers.

Applicants should have at least 6 months’ dual fuel meter fitting experience, a full UK driving licence, and relevant certifications where possible. Competitive salary and extensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 credentials preferred.
• MOCOPA knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first-class after-care demonstration to customers.
• Repair and maintain meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K - uncapped

Performance bonus

Weekly meter fit bonus scheme

Qualifications and Key skills required:

• MET1
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous
