Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking skilled Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to install, exchange and service meters in customers’ homes across the UK. The role focuses on safe installation, clear demonstrations to customers and reliable post-install support.

You will operate in Hereford and surrounding areas, working on dual fuel smart meters with opportunities for growth within the Sureserve Group.

Qualifications

• MET1 certification or equivalent
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications
• Experience handling single-phase electric metering
• MOCOPA 1a/1c knowledge or training
• REGT1 and polyphase knowledge (desirable)
• Valid UK driving licence required
• Minimum 6 months fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or multi-phase experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide first-class after-care including a full meter demonstration for customers.
• Repair and maintain meters after initial installation.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.

• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.

• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer -£ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure -£ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer£48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus

Weekly meter fit bonus scheme

£60 per month lunch expenses
