Job summary

Hestia is seeking a Senior Recovery Worker to join the Mental Health and Complex Needs Service in Tower Hamlets. You will play a pivotal role in delivering recovery-focused support for service users with complex needs and dual diagnoses, under the guidance of the Service Manager.

The role emphasizes strength-based, person-centered approaches and collaboration across agencies. Ideal candidates will have experience in health or social care, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in health, social care, or voluntary sector.
• Background in managing people and supporting individuals with mental health issues, complex needs, and dual diagnoses.
• Experience working in high-pressure, challenging environments.
• Strong communication and partnership-building abilities across sectors.
• Proficient in time management, delegation and establishing effective processes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide dual-diagnosis support through assessment, support planning, coaching and motivational interviewing to service users with drug/alcohol and mental health concerns.
• Support the Service Manager to lead the running of the Tower Hamlets service and deliver outcomes configured by the local authority.
• Demonstrate commitment to values and mission; collaborate with colleagues to ensure person-centered, recovery-oriented care.
