Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Dual Residential Registered Manager to oversee two children's homes in the Poole, Dorset area. The role requires strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge and a focus on delivering positive outcomes for children and young people.

You will lead safeguarding practices, manage risk and ensure the homes provide a safe, supportive environment while driving continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
• 2–3 years of management experience leading staff teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coordinate and develop two children's residential homes, ensuring positive outcomes for young people.
• Promote partnership working with families and external agencies to meet individual needs.
• Provide effective leadership by implementing organisational strategies and objectives, supporting the continued success and growth of service.
• Promote team development, engagement and effective team working across both homes.
• Lead on setting standards, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across both services.
• Line manage staff teams across both homes, ensuring induction, supervision, performance reviews and support.
