Job summary

• Experience with metalworking, wood and plastic manufacturing techniques.
• Experience operating 3D printers and laser cutters.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a busy school environment.
• Commitment to safety and safeguarding of young people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessons.
• Assist teachers and students during practical activities and demonstrations.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations (COSHH, risk assessments, machine safety).
• Maintain records of equipment servicing and inventory; manage stock and order consumables.
• Keep workshops and storage tidy.
