Job summary

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic High School is seeking a highly organised Design Technology Technician to support the delivery of our practical subjects. You will prepare materials, resources and equipment for lessons, ensuring workshops and teaching spaces are safe, organised and fully equipped.

This role involves maintaining machinery and tools, monitoring stock levels, supporting health and safety compliance, and assisting students and staff during practical activities.

Qualifications

• Has NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Has good standards of literacy and numeracy.
• Has experience of providing technical or workshop support.
• Has knowledge of specialist tools, equipment and resources.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Has a strong commitment to health and safety.
• Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
