You will work with a well-equipped workshop, including CAD/CAM gear, supporting KS3 to A-Level students. This is a full-time, permanent post with long-term career prospects within the school.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a DT Technician or hands-on workshop background.
• Knowledge of workshop tools and machinery; able to work independently.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, 2D Design, SolidWorks, 3D printing or laser cutting is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Prepare timber, metals, acrylics, plastics and tools for practical lessons.
• Set up and clear away equipment for KS3, GCSE and A-Level lessons.
• Maintain and check workshop machinery (bandsaws, drills, sanders, 3D printers, laser cutters).
• Support students and teachers during practical sessions.
• Ensure health & safety and COSHH compliance in all activities.
• Manage stock and order materials; keep equipment organised.
