Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is helping a successful secondary school in Tottenham recruit a committed DT Technician.

You will support the Design & Technology department by preparing materials, equipment and resources for practical lessons, while maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a DT or workshop setting, a practical hands-on approach, and the ability to work with teachers and support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DT, workshop or practical environment.
• Good knowledge of tools, materials and workshop equipment.
• Able to prepare resources and equipment for practical lessons.
• Understanding of health and safety in a workshop environment.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Practical hands‑on approach to problem solving.
• Able to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
• Strong communication skills and a positive approach.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
