Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Wolverhampton from October 2026. This part-time position runs until January 2027, delivering practical and engaging lessons while integrating into a welcoming school community.

The role covers KS3 and KS4 across various DT specialisms including materials, resistant materials, textiles, product design, and food preparation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Recent experience teaching within a UK Secondary School.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach practical and theory-based content across relevant DT disciplines.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs and abilities of different learners.
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour in classroom and practical settings.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure practical lessons are delivered safely and effectively.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
