Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf on a full-time basis with an immediate start.

This role focuses on delivering engaging practical and theory Design & Technology lessons, with emphasis on Woodwork/Resistant Materials and potential to teach additional DT disciplines as needed. DBS update may be required.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary setting.
• Confident delivering Woodwork/Resistant Materials lessons.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passion for practical, hands-on learning.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Full-time DT teaching position in a secondary school.
• Immediate start available.
• Teaching KS3 and KS4 Design & Technology.
