Long-term Teachers Ltd is seeking a passionate Design Technology teacher for a full-time position just outside Taunton. You will design engaging lessons and help students learn to design and create with hands-on activities in a DT classroom.

The role requires QTS and experience teaching DT up to KS4, enhanced DBS, and eligibility to work in the UK. The school offers guaranteed pay plans and supportive recruitment assistance.

The role is full time and offers an excellent chance to utilise passion and enthusiasm to enhance children's experiences learning to design and create, as well as gain valuable hands-on experience in the DT classroom setting.

Be calm, patient and understanding; classrooms can be overwhelming environments and it is vital to be able to take a deep breath and accurately gauge the most effective and appropriate response, both managing tempers and diffusing situations.

A candidate 'Must Have':

• An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this!).


• Eligibility to work in the UK (No Sponsorships Provided).


• Willingness or ability to work with children in a classroom setting.


• Experience in a Design Technology Teaching job and have a QTS.


• The ability to teach up to KS4.
