Job summary

The Education Network North is seeking a skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a Durham secondary school on a part-time, supply basis starting in September.

You will deliver engaging DT lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, plan, prepare and assess in line with school expectations, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment. A QTS or equivalent is required, with strong classroom management and a flexible, professional approach essential.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Durham on a part-time, supply basis starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner looking for a flexible role, with the position initially offered for one day per week and likely to continue through to the Easter break.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with school expectations (proportionate to working pattern)
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
