Job summary

The Education Network Durham & Newcastle is seeking a qualified DT Teacher to join a South Tyneside school on an ongoing basis. You will teach DT to KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons, and assess student progress to support achievement.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS or equivalent, strong classroom management, and the ability to motivate learners of varying abilities. DBS and safeguarding checks will be required.

Are you a qualified and dedicated DT Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are working closely with a school in the South Tyneside area that are seeking a DT teacher to join their team as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

The Role:

• Teaching DT to KS3 and KS4 students
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
• Assessing and tracking student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification
• Experience teaching DT at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

Please note, this is a main pay scale role and the pay range of £162.31 - £223.62 is linked to your current teacher pay scale.
