Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a DSO Energy Analyst to join the Curtailment Forecasting Team. The role focuses on producing curtailment assessments, managing datasets and developing data products for customer self-service tools.

Based in Bristol, Cardiff, Tipton or Castle Donnington, with hybrid working after training. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with SQL and Python (Pandas), and a good grasp of data management.

Qualifications

• Experience with data extraction, processing, analysis and storage.
• Strong analytical problem-solving with data.
• Experience communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Produce curtailment assessments for customers leveraging ANM tools.
• Maintain and analyze curtailment datasets with time-series data.
• Coordinate information across DSO, ANM and Primary Network Design teams.
• Develop and enhance curtailment data products published through the DSO Data Portal.
• Drive continuous improvement in curtailment processes and data management.
