Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a DSAT Specialist to support development of training materials. The role supports CMDC and requires adherence to JSP 822, DSAT principles, and internal standards.

You will design artefacts for customer courses and drive innovative training solutions, working across CMDC processes and with stakeholders to meet training needs. The role offers hybrid and remote working options within the UK, with occasional travel to Reading.

Qualifications

• Experience with DSAT and UK MoD training standards.
• Ability to gather technical information from stakeholders.
• Organised, able to work independently and in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

Work Culture

37hr working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site-specific arrangements. Early 1.30pm finish Friday, start your weekend early! Role & Responsibilities

Raytheon UK’s Courseware and Media Development Capability (CMDC) is looking for a DSAT Specialist to support development for our training materials.

• Main duties will include:
• Ensure all outputs adhere to JSP 822, DSAT principles, and Project Delta documentation standards.
• Design the DSAT artefacts for our customer’s training courses in accordance with CMDC production process, Development Manual and Style Guides.
• Consider, champion, and implement innovative training solutions to meet our customer’s training needs.
• Comply with Raytheon and Customer policies.
• Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service.

Required experience

• Experience in UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
• Ensure instructional materials align with best practices and internal quality standards.
• Must be organised and work well both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
• To effectively communicate with stakeholders outside of the training development team to gather technical information necessary for development.
• Ability to comprehend/interpret technical and non-technical information and apply it to visual mediums.
• Ability to confidently use MS Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• The successful candidate must be able to qualify for SC security clearance.

Desirable experience

• Experience using Moodle and Jira.
