Job summary

RTX is seeking Media Developers for its Integrated Training Design Service in the UK. You will create engaging media, support training content, and collaborate with SMEs to deliver learner-centric e-learning.

Role requires a Digital Media/Graphic Design background, proficiency with tools like Moodle/Articulate, and ability to meet project deadlines. Hybrid/remote work options apply, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Digital Media or Graphic Design at a minimum Level 4.
• Experience with media production and asset management.
• Knowledge of LMS and e-learning authoring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role involves media tasks for training transformation and learner-centric content.
• Produce interactive, engaging media using industry-standard software.
• Build relationships with subject matter experts to support training.
• Develop storyboards and ensure deadlines, resources and budgets are met.
• Adhere to QA procedures and asset/document management controls.
• Occasional travel to other customer sites may be required.

Work Culture

37hr working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site-specific arrangements. Early 1.30pm finish Friday, start your weekend early! Remote, hybrid and site based working opportunities, dependant on your needs and the requirements of the role. Up to 5 paid days volunteering each year. Role & Responsibilities

Raytheon UK’s Integrated Training Design Service is looking for Media Developers to support training development of our training materials.

• Accountable for all media tasks assigned to you with regards to training transformation.
• An advocate for the creation of media that is not only active and engaging, but also inclusive and learner centric.
• Supporting the Media team in the production of interactive, innovative and engaging media content, adhering to the Courseware and Media production process.
• Developing innovative and engaging media content utilising industry-standard software.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships with subject matter experts to positively contribute towards training transformation.
• Working collaboratively with customers and colleagues to create fit for purpose e-Learning content through storyboard development, adhering to project deadlines, resources and budget.
• Identify and implement best practice across multimedia outputs.
• Maintain and adhere to asset management of electronic files, admin systems and document management control.
• Adhering to the Quality Assurance procedures and standards.
• Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of work colleagues and customers.
• Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data and ensure smooth operations.
• Any other duties required to support the Integrated Training Design Service.
• Occasional travel to other customer sites may be required.

Required experience

• A qualification in Digital Media, Graphic Design or a related field at the minimum grade of QCF Level 4 or equivalent.

Qualifications

We Prefer Should have some experience of:

• Experience using Moodle.
• 3D modelling software Blender/3DS Max or equivalent.
• Articulate Storyline.
• Moodle H5P plugin.
• Creation of animation sequences exploiting effective asset management and workflow.
• Visualising and planning of media along a timeline.
