Job summary

Certara is seeking an Associate Project Manager in the United Kingdom to support low complexity drug development consulting projects. You will ensure project execution within budget, schedule, and scope and provide operational support to the PMO.

The role involves interfacing with project teams and clients, creating and maintaining detailed project plans, and monitoring timelines to deliver high-quality results. A degree in a relevant field and PMP/Agile certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in project management, business administration, operations management, or relevant scientific discipline.
• Certification in PMP, Agile, SCRUM, ISO, Six-Sigma or ITIL a strong plus.
• Project Management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, drug development, or contract research organization(s) working with sponsors to translate decisions into actions and delivering complex projects on time, under budget, and with high quality.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with project teams and clients to support all phases of project management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure for multi-disciplinary projects ranging in complexity.
• Create, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans and communicate timelines to internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Maintain project health by proactively addressing emerging issues and updating stakeholders on status.
• Identify and document change and risk impact and communicate to all stakeholders.
• Provide operational support, including development and improvement of business practices and processes.
