Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting Driver's Mate (Tramping) for a furniture delivery operation based in Sherburn in Elmet. You will join a two-person crew and be away from home Thursday to Sunday, delivering furniture nationwide with an experienced Class 2 Driver.

Hourly pay starts at £15.00 Mon-Fri, £17.00 Sat, £19.00 Sun with overtime after 40 hours and a Night Out Allowance. Weekly pay and immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hard-working attitude.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Happy to work away from home each week.
• Previous delivery, warehouse or driver's mate experience is beneficial but not essential.

• Heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the day.

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client in Sherburn in Elmet for Driver's Mates to join a busy, growing delivery operation delivering furniture directly to customers across the UK.

This is a genuine tramping role, working away from home from Thursday to Sunday each week alongside an experienced Class 2 Driver. If you enjoy being on the road, staying active and providing great customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Pay & Benefits

£15.00 per hour Monday to Friday

£17.00 per hour Saturday

£19.00 per hour Sunday

Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours

Night Out Allowance

• 1st night out: £25
• Nights 2-4: £50 per night

Important
