Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting Drivers Mates for a major retailer in Thetford, Norfolk. You will assist drivers with deliveries of household appliances, load and unload, and provide friendly customer service. The role starts at 07:00 Tuesday to Saturday and offers regular summer work with progression opportunities.

Pay starts at £12.81–£12.92 per hour with weekly pay and flexible patterns. DBS check may be required, and full site inductions are provided.

Qualifications

• Active and reliable person with a willing attitude to work outdoors and move goods.
• Capability to load/unload deliveries safely and follow health and safety rules.
• Willingness to attend a site induction and complete a DBS check if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with delivery of appliances and electronics, including TVs and white goods.
• Load and unload deliveries and ensure safe handling at all times.
• Deliver good customer service at each delivery point and follow procedures.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same. You'll be:

• Assisting drivers with the delivery of household appliances and electronics, including TVs, fridges, washing machines, and more
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Following all health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

• Someone who enjoys being active and doesn't mind manual handling
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to attend a site induction
• Happy for a DBS check to be completed
• Previous Drivers Mate experience is an advantage, but not essential
