Job summary

MacGregor Industrial Supplies Ltd. is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Person in Aberdeen. The role involves delivering products across the Northeast of Scotland while also supporting warehouse operations as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a full UK driving license and can handle routes, loads, and basic paperwork with accuracy. You will follow schedules, ensure vehicle readiness, and maintain stock integrity while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license, preferably clean.
• CPC licence for 7.5 tonne vehicles is desirable but not essential.
• Numeracy and literacy skills to complete paperwork.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
• Good customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
• Ability to work within and contribute to a team.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to locations across the Northeast of Scotland.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Load, unload, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Follow safety standards and vehicle maintenance checks.
• Stock labelling of incoming goods and replenish stock.
• Pick and pack customer and warehouse orders.

Job description

Driver / Warehouse Person Location: Aberdeen Hours: Full Time/ 37.5 hours per week At MacGregor Industrial Supplies, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to our customers across the North of Scotland. We are currently seeking a Driver / Warehouse Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products, goods & parcels safely & efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes. They will also be required to assist with warehouse operations as required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations across the Northeast of Scotland.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure any company vehicle allocated is fit for purpose.
• Deal with customers’ queries and ensure these are passed to the relevant person for completion.
• Pick and pack customer and warehouse orders.
• Assist loading company vehicles with orders.
• Receive and verify all deliveries.
• Stock labelling of incoming goods.
• Assist in storing, controlling & security of all stock.
• Warehouse housekeeping.
• Replenish warehouse stock.
• Assist with customer returns.

What we’re looking for:

• Full UK driving license – preferably clean.
• License to drive 7.5 tonne vehicles with CPC (desirable but not essential).
• Numeracy and literacy skills to enable completion of paperwork.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required by the company.
• Good customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.
