Job summary

MacGregor Industrial Supplies Ltd is hiring a Driver / Warehouse Person in Aberdeen to deliver products across the Northeast and assist warehouse operations. You will load, unload, and inspect vehicles, complete logs, and ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently and safely.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, and a 7.5 tonne CPC is desirable. Strong numeracy, literacy, and customer service skills are essential, with flexibility to work additional hours and work well in a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver items to locations across the Northeast of Scotland within set timeframes.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure company vehicle is fit for purpose.
• Handle customer queries and pass to the relevant person.
• Pick and pack customer and warehouse orders.
• Assist in loading company vehicles with orders.
• Receive and verify deliveries.
• Stock labelling of incoming goods and stock control.
• Warehouse housekeeping and stock replenishment.
• Assist with customer returns.

Driver / Warehouse PersonLocation: AberdeenHours: Full Time/ 37.5 hours per weekAt MacGregor Industrial Supplies, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to our customers across the North of Scotland. We are currently seeking a Driver / Warehouse Person to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products, goods & parcels safely & efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes. They will also be required to assist with warehouse operations as required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations across the Northeast of Scotland.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure any company vehicle allocated is fit for purpose.
• Deal with customers’ queries and ensure these are passed to the relevant person for completion.
• Pick and pack customer and warehouse orders.
• Assist loading company vehicles with orders.
• Receive and verify all deliveries.
• Stock labelling of incoming goods.
• Assist in storing, controlling & security of all stock.
• Warehouse housekeeping.
• Replenish warehouse stock.
• Assist with customer returns.

What we’re looking for:

• Full UK driving license – preferably clean.
• License to drive 7.5 tonne vehicles with CPC (desirable but not essential).
• Numeracy and literacy skills to enable completion of paperwork.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required by the company.
• Good customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
• Ability to work within and contribute to a team.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
