Job summary

BSS LSE Region in Thurmaston is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our branch team. In this dual-role you will load, drive and deliver to varied sites, and when not on the road you’ll pick orders, unload deliveries and support the trade counter.

You must hold a clean driving licence with a valid CPC, plus experience in multi-drop deliveries and a proactive, safety-first approach. Monday to Friday with opportunities for development within Travis Perkins Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Ability to switch between driving and warehouse tasks.
• Strong organisational and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver goods to a variety of sites, ensuring excellent service.
• Unload supplier deliveries and pick orders in the branch warehouse.
• Support the team at the trade counter and assist customers on-site.

• On the Road: You’ll be responsible for loading your vehicle and delivering essential goods to a variety of sites, ensuring our customers receive a fantastic service every time you pull up.
• In the Warehouse: When you’re not behind the wheel, you’ll be in the thick of the action—unloading supplier deliveries, picking orders with precision, and supporting the team on the trade counter.
• Customer Champion: Whether you’re on-site or in-branch, you’ll represent BSS with professionalism, delivering more than just products, but a service they can rely on.
• Safety First: You’ll champion our non-negotiable safety culture, ensuring your vehicle is checked and your warehouse tasks are completed with the highest regard for wellbeing.

• The Essentials: You must hold a clean driving licence along with a valid CPC qualification.
