Job summary

BSS, part of Travis Perkins plc, is hiring a Driver / Warehouse Assistant to balance road delivery with warehouse duties across our branch network. You will load, deliver, unload, and pick orders while supporting colleagues at the trade counter.

We expect a clean driving licence with CPC, plus experience in multi-drop deliveries and a proactive, safety-conscious attitude. This role offers growth within a national distributor with a strong benefits package and sociable hours.

In this dual-purpose role, you are much more than just a driver—you are the face of our business. You’ll need a flexible, "can-do" attitude to balance life on the road with the fast-paced environment of our branch warehouse. • On the Road: You’ll be responsible for loading your vehicle and delivering essential goods to a variety of sites, ensuring our customers receive a fantastic service every time you pull up.
• In the Warehouse: When you’re not behind the wheel, you’ll be in the thick of the action—unloading supplier deliveries, picking orders with precision, and supporting the team on the trade counter.
• Customer Champion: Whether you’re on-site or in-branch, you’ll represent BSS with professionalism, delivering more than just products, but a service they can rely on.
• Safety First: You’ll champion our non-negotiable safety culture, ensuring your vehicle is checked and your warehouse tasks are completed with the highest regard for wellbeing.
