Job summary

BSS LSE Region is hiring a Class 2 HGV Driver based in Exeter. You will be responsible for safe, efficient multi-drop deliveries of heating and plumbing stock from our branches to customers.

We offer a basic salary with bonus potential and fully funded HIAB training if needed, plus generous holiday, pension, and share schemes. Training support for CPC renewals helps you stay qualified and progressing.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence with up-to-date CPC records.
• Strong focus on safety and professional conduct.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Willingness to work within a team to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport stock to customers with multi-drop deliveries from branches.
• Reload at branch for subsequent runs and manage load planning.
• Operate HIAB where trained and ensure equipment is used safely.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for safely and professionally transporting stock (mainly pipeline and heating products) from our branches to customers. This role involves multi-drop deliveries, with regular returns to the branch to reload for your next run. Our larger vehicles are equipped with HIABs (lorry-mounted cranes), and we’ll fully fund your HIAB training to make sure you’re fully prepared for the job! New drivers are welcome, and we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed.
