Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Doncaster is recruiting a Class 1 driver to play a key role in keeping our operations efficient, delivering goods safely and on time while upholding high health and safety standards.

This permanent full-time position offers 5-on/2-off or 4-on-2-off patterns, a competitive £49,060.56 per annum pay, a valuable pension scheme, 24/7 GP support, and access to staff discounts and financial wellbeing benefits across the DHL network.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Have a Digital Tachograph Card and up-to-date driver documentation.
• Ideally have 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience with wagon & drag would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up demountable boxes to outbases within the network.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code at all times.
• Complete vehicle checks regularly.

Pay Rate: £49,060.56 pa

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 5 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off. 48hrs pw. Start times between 16:00-20:00.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivery and pick up of demountable boxes (wagon & drag) to outbases within the network
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

this Role Would Suit People Who
