Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Sherburn-in-Elmet is seeking a Driver Training Manager to lead and develop a professional driving team, delivering training programmes, driving compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture on a busy UK logistics operation.

This full-time, on-site role operates Monday to Friday with evening flexibility, offering a salary up to £42,745.17 plus a £3,000 night-shift premium, 25 days of annual leave, a company pension, life assurance, and access to employee benefits

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering driver training within transport or logistics.
• Strong understanding of Driver CPC, Drivers' Hours, Working Time Regulations, and transport compliance.
• Full UK Category C+E driving licence; strong communication, coaching, and organisational skills.
• Passion for developing people and driving high performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging driver inductions, assessments, training, and Driver CPC programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, DVSA regulations, and Operator Licence requirements.
• Monitor driver performance; provide coaching to improve safety and operations.
• Maintain training/compliance records and support reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Transport, Health & Safety, HR, and customer teams to drive improvements.
