Job summary

Anglian Water Services in Essex is seeking an experienced LGV Trainer/Driver to train Drivers and Operators, including delivering the Driver CPC. The role involves completing driving/operational assessments for new and existing staff and providing driving cover as needed.

You will bring a Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC, IT skills and strong communication to liaise with scheduling teams and ensure high safety and competence standards.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E) is required.
• Fully completed Driver CPC is required.
• CITB trained is required.
• Experience of operating and training a range of plant & equipment.
• IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint are needed.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver training and liaise with scheduling teams.

Responsibilities

• Train Drivers & Operators on all operational functions within the department, including DCPC.
• Carry out driving/operational assessments for new and existing Drivers and Operators.
• Provide driving cover as required within the business.

Salary Circa £41,000 depending on skills and experience + business use of company van

Permanent, Full time.

Mainly covering Essex, but may need to assist in covering other areas when required.

Based within the Anglian Water region covering Essex

Water Recycling is at the heart of our operations. The key services that we are responsible for are delivered by our in-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets. Our network includes 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres. What you will be doing:

Your role will require you to train our Drivers & Operators on all operational functions within the department, this will include teaching the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC). This will include completing driving/operational assessments for new & existing Drivers and Operators. You will also be required to provide driving cover as required within the business.
