Job summary
Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting for a Driver's Mate. Reporting to the Transport Shift Manager, you will support the driver and warehouse teams with loading/unloading stock and help ensure efficient routes while maintaining safety.
This permanent role offers a 48-hour week, Monday to Friday with flexibility to work any 5 days in a 7-day period, and a competitive salary with extensive benefits including product allowances, private medical, life assurance, pension contributions, generous holiday
Qualifications
- Experience in loading/unloading stock and warehouse support.
- Ability to plan efficient routes to locations and back home.
- Customer service and strong relationship building.
- Health and safety awareness with full induction training provided.
- Knowledge of local region preferred; training available.
Responsibilities
- Support the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading stock.
- Assist with efficient routing to and from locations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and other departments.
- Prior experience in driver's mate or drayman desirable but not required.
- Adhere to health and safety at all processes.
- Manual handling experience/training desirable; training provided.
- Be aware of brand portfolio in UK and local regions.
