Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Swansea is seeking a Driver's Mate to support our drivers in delivering goods safely and on time. The role involves loading, unloading, and coordinating with the transport team on a daily basis, with shift patterns across Wednesday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, capable of handling volume orders, and possess good organisational and numeracy skills. Flexibility and prior Driver's Mate experience are a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for manual handling and loading tasks.
• Experience handling large volume orders is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills to manage workload.
• Ability to perform simple maths calculations.
• Previous Driver's Mate experience is ideal but not essential.
• Flexible and adaptable to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate picking and loading of items onto the vehicle.
• Assist driver with unloading at premises or homes.
• Stay in touch with transport team to report issues.
• Complete processes on an electronic handheld device.
